Murphy Oil Exchange

Capabilities

Murphy Oil Exchange has a long history of crude oil and natural gas production and exploration across the globe.

Onshore

Murphy owns and operates the majority of its North American onshore assets, which are located in the Eagle Ford Shale in the US, and Kabob Duvernay and Tupper Montney in Canada. The company drills for and produces oil and natural gas, which is then delivered via third-party pipelines, trucks or railcars to facilities for processing into products such as gasoline, diesel, jet fuel and other petrochemical materials before the components are delivered to various end users.

Offshore

Murphy drills for and produces oil and natural gas from several operated and non-operated fields across more than 100 blocks in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico. The produced hydrocarbons are then transported to shore through a pipeline or to a sailing vessel known as a floating production system (FPS), which delivers the oil and natural gas to onshore facilities for processing into products such as gasoline, diesel, jet fuel and other petrochemical materials before the components are delivered to various end users. Murphy also has several exploration prospects across 58 blocks in the Gulf of Mexico to augment its producing infrastructure with nearfield exploration. Other offshore exploration blocks are located in Brazil, Vietnam and Côte d’Ivoire.
